Richard is a Managing Director at ACF with over 25 years of investment banking experience in a variety of sectors including media and entertainment, leisure, and food. Richard’s experience includes M&A advisory, private equity, and debt fundraising.

Richard was previously in Grant Thornton’s media and entertainment team with a specific focus on TV production and distribution. He has advised on transactions covering many territories including the UK, Europe, US, Central and South America, Canada, and Far East markets.

Richard commenced his career in 1995 at Scottish-based Acumen Accountants and Advisors Limited. Following the completion of his training contract in 1999, Richard joined the major food producer Grampian Country Food Group Limited, before joining Grant Thornton in 2001.

Richard has been featured in Variety Dealmakers Impact Report and is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
