2014 MIPCOM felt the presence of the digital players and ongoing global consolidation of the content producers. “Shendomol” and All3/Discovery and the ongoing acquisitions of ITV were common discussions.
The US continues to increase their impact and involvement in the global play for content dominance. It was a very WET WET Cannes – thunder and lightning for three days – but all was good on the ACF yacht as the wine was flowing with plenty of good conversations. 2015 promises to be the busiest year so far – watch this space for some exciting deal announcements.
