About Corporate Finance to sell Russian TV producer 2V studios, according to Ulf Persson, managing partner at private equity Mint.
Scandinavian fund Mint Capital is looking to sell or find an investor in 2V Studios in the next six to 12 months, Persson told this news service. Mint Capital invests in entrepreneurial companies in Russia and the CIS.
“This could be a Western strategic or a local media company,” Persson told this news service. Mint Capital is currently in talks with a number of potential buyers, said Persson. He would not disclose the names of the potential bidders.
2V Studios is a Russian producer of entertainment content for local TV channels. Among the company’s partners are top Russian TV channels and Western TV producers, including Global American Television, Fremantle, Fox, NBC Universal, CBS Paramount, and Screentime, according to Mint Capital’s website.
